(About Bill Pere)

Do you write for yourself  and have no public, or do you write for the public and have no self?   There is a third choice -- you can have BOTH.   Songcrafters' Coloring Book shows you how to write in your own way, and make it affect an audience the way you want it to.

The Songcrafters Coloring Book Songwriting Retreat
March 19-21 2010, North Stonington, CT.

Since the release of Songcrafters' Coloring Book, there have been lots of inquiries from folks about being able to attend my in-person workshops,  and especially about an in-depth songwriting retreat weekend.

Upon asking for folks to indicate interest in attending a weekend retreat, there was a very positive response, so  I'm pleased to say that we've been able to set up a great weekend  retreat, which we can hopefully make an annual event.  I would like nothing better than to spend a weekend with folks who are serious about writing the best possible songs,  and to help them achieve that goal.   The weekend we've set is March 19-21, 2010,  in North Stonington, CT.

This will be a small intensive gathering, limited to 12  people at the most, covering every aspect of songwriting,  along with the related business and performance aspects as well. We'll have a beautiful natural setting, with meals provided, all at an extremely affordable cost.

Topics and programs would include:
 -- ALL aspects of songwriting (semantic, phonetic, prosodic, and musical elements),
     using YOUR songs as examples
--  Level Three critiques, multiple songs per person
--  Individual Mentoring on your songs and your goals
--  Vocal performance coaching and workshop (with Kay Pere)
--  Stage Performance evaluation
--  Effective Use of Internet Resources
--  Informal song sharing
--  Collaborative writing and performing
--  Balancing the Creative and Practical aspects of a busy life (with Kay Pere)
--  Business and Marketing considerations for the Digital Age

GUARANTEED to give you some useful tools and techniques to apply to your own songwriting aspirations.
