IMC WORKSHOP #1

THE 8 KEYS SUCCESS IN THE
MUSIC BUSINESS
If you are attending
IMC, to take full advantage of this
workshop and get the most benefit from it, you should PRE-REGISTER BEFORE
IMC starts. If you wish, Bill will do a personalized preference
profile and consultation, specific for you,
at NO COST !. This alone is worth more than the
cost of your IMC registration.
Bill is a professionally trained MBTI practitioner and is one of the very
few people who has applied this profiling tool specifically to the music
industry.
To take advantage of this great
opportunity, e-mail Bill at
bill @
billpere .com and indicate
your intention to attend the workshop, and what you hope to get from it.
INCLUDE YOUR POSTAL MAIL ADDRESS and Bill will send you an MBTI profile form
that you can fill out and bring with you to the Conference. There it
will be scored for you and you can get your profile.
If you want a personalized
profile done, make sure you meet up with Bill at the Conference
as early as possible -- there are not many consultation slots available.
You will find this to be an
experience that will have a lasting impression on how you go forward in your
musical pursuits.

IMC WORKSHOP #`3

THE BENEFITS OF DOING BENEFITS
For most artists and bands, "doing a benefit" usually means
putting out a lot of work and playing for free. The main purpose
of a benefit is to help some worthy cause, but non-profit does not
have to mean no-profit for artists.
Bill has raised more than 3/4 of a million dollars
for various charities through his performances, and is the Founder of
LUNCH, a
nationally recognized organization which uses the power of popular music to
produce positive social action. Bill's upscale benefit events draw
large audiences of people who pay to come and LISTEN to origianl music.
As a result of his benefit work, Bill had received many offers for deals
which result in real paychecks. It's all in knowing how to
organize and execute an event, how to present your ideas, and how to present
yourself and your music.
Partnering with the non-profit sector is one of
the best ways for any band or artist to take a great leap forward in their
career while using their music to make the world a better place.
This workshop will show you how.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO
SUBMIT SONGS/CD FOR CRITIQUE AT any of the Critique Sessions
or at the SONGSALIVE Song Camp:
Bill will be on those critique panels.
In order to get the most from the input you receive, it is important to know
something about the perspectives of the critiquers, and of critique dynamics in
general. For some information on this, go to Bill's page of
Songwriter Tools
You will find an article there called "Taking the Mystique
Out of Critique" as well as many of his other articles on the craft of
songwriting. Much of the input that Bill will provide in the critique
sessions is based on the article "Expression vs Communication".
Bill has participated in thousands of
song critiques spanning 3 decades, and he has offered to do one-on-one private
critiques for anyone would would like to have one, at no cost while at IMC.
There are a limited number of consulting slots available so the earlier you
indicate your interest, the better.
We look forward to meeting you all.
